A potter can’t do much with dried out clay.
Clay like that is either too hardened to respond or crumbles under the pressure.
But clay that is cared for is another story altogether.
Instead of resisting, it releases itself to the molding process, becoming a thing of beauty within the potter’s hands.
It’s the same with the clay of us, and our Potter who loves us so.
God wants to mold us according to his purposes in our lives.
But we need to stay connected to him to be the malleable clay he needs us to be.
