It seems that today’s society is increasingly content to settle for the superficial.
That in many instances, an emoji on social media or briefly worded text is the extent of our relational expressions.
That sitting down to make eye contact over a meal or cup of coffee happens less often than in the past.
That we are willing to settle for a distant knowledge of each other instead of the experience of true relationship.
The same can happen with God.
Many people have knowledge of or about him.
But experiencing God is a different thing altogether.
There, we seek his face.
Step into his embrace.
Bask in his love.
Open our arms wide.
And receive the hope that he provides.
Ephesians 3:16-19 (NIV)
