Fixing our eyes on Jesus

Focusing on Jesus can be hard sometimes.

After all, we have an abundance of distractions that vie for our attention.

Busy schedules.

Seemingly pressing needs.

Echoes of urgency that fill our senses with everything but God.

In the midst of all-that-distracts, Jesus calls us to fix our eyes on him.

To resist the need to rush headlong on our own.

To embrace his presence.

Take his hand.

And let him lead the way.

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NIV)
Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
